Greyjays meets SHIFT
I met with one of the creators of Greyjays, a Boise & Portland based hand-made jewelry company, and we put together some ideas for a shoot.
When I came across Marissa's pink hair on Instagram I thought it would look great in photos. I had also purchased faux lavender vines I wanted to incorporate into a shoot. I had originally planned to hang them as a backdrop but changed my mind an hour before the shoot. Instead I laid them on the ground.
The clothing was provided by one of my favorite local stores SHIFT Boutique, located in downtown Boise.
I ordered a beige backdrop and it never got to me on time so I had to order one that was similar in color that would get here on time for the scheduled shoot. I ended up with this color, egg nog, mostly because it was the only option I had. But I ended up loving the color and used the entire roll on another shoot.
