Europe & Africa

First up, Paris.

The view from our room.

We stayed at the Intercontinental right next to this gorgeous Opera house.

The view from the hotel room's balcony.

Then we went for a walk to the Eiffel Tower.

This was on the way there.

This was awesome.

On the way back.

We managed to get one photo together the entire trip.

The Mona Lisa was on my Paris bucket list so we went to the Louvre.

We went right when they opened and I was able to get some photos without too many people. Then the crowds started rolling in deep.

The first time I laid eyes on it.

Wouldn't be France without French macaroons.

Then Mauritius.

Mauritius is an island off the southeast coast of Africa, it neighbors Madagascar.

It has a majority Indian population but has influences from Africa, India, France, and China. This is one of the most eclectic places I've been to and it's where I fell in love with Indian food.

The view when you walk in the resort.

Breakfast view every morning.

Standing between the infinity pool and the ocean, looking towards the resort.

We went on a quad trip. Started with sight seeing and ended with breaking away from the group and speeding like nut jobs with a small group of crazies.

Sugar cane is Mauritius's farming crop. Also used in their local rum.

The Indian Ocean is perfect.

Palm tree heaven.

My favorite part was riding for a few hours to get to this waterfall. Then hiking down, jumping in, and swimming behind the waterfall to chill in a small cave. Followed by amazing Indian food.

Then we went fast.

Literally in the middle of nowhere.

Took this photo of Scott's work colleagues to show how deep in the forest we went.

Gorgeous sunsets every day we were there. Go Africa.
